10th May 2008

I first began making mosaics in 2000 after being given some tiles and tools as a gift. What began as a relaxing hobby soon turned into something more.

I found the versatility of mosaic exciting, being equally suitable for interior or garden projects. Mosaic is a great way of bringing colour and interest to any location and examples of various uses can be found on the commissions and gallery pages.

Most of my mosaics feature either flora or fauna and being able to work surrounded by Countryside I find my inspiration from the nature on my doorstep.

Most of the mosaics I produce are made using vitreous glass or ceramic tile cut into fairly small pieces and positioned with minimal grout lines. Although this is a time consuming way of working, I like to be able to put as much detail as possible into each mosaic.

Previously my work has been featured in Homes and Gardens Magazine and a TV garden makeover programme.

To view a selection of my work, please visit the gallery and commission pages.

If you would like to talk about commissioning a mosaic or purchasing one of the pieces shown in this brochure, please contact me. Delivery can be arranged to most UK and worldwide destinations.
